OLD KENTUCKY POUND CAKE


Recipe
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups self-rising flour
2 cups granulated sugar
4 egg yolks
1 - 1/2 cups oil
4 eggs whites (beaten)
1 - 8 ounce can crushed pineapple with juice
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
 
Directions:
Preheat oven at 325 degrees.

1.  Mix flour and sugar together.

2.  Make a well in center, add yolks and oil. Mix.

3.  Fold in egg whites. Add remaining ingredients, mix well.

4.  Pour into greased tube pan.

5.  Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
