FIVE FLAVOR POUND CAKE
Recipe
Ingredients:
2 sticks margarine or butter
1/2 cup shortening
3 cups sugar
5 eggs (well beaten)
3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon each flavoring: coconut, rum, butter, lemon, vanilla
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
1. Cream butter, shortening and sugar thoroughly. Beat until batter is light and fluffy.
2. Add eggs and blend well. Add flour, baking powder and mix. Add flavoring and blend well.
3. Pour into greased tube pan. Bake for 1 - 1/2 hours.
