LORIANNE'S HOMEMADE PIZZA

This is Lorianne's husband's favorite pizza.
Ingredients:
1 frozen pizza crust (check to make sure it does not contain hydrogenated
or partially hydrogenated ingredients.   Lorianne uses organic California
Style by Alvarado St. Bakery. She finds them at Wild Oats Market.)
1 lb lean ground beef
minced garlic, or garlic powder, to taste
1 each, green, yellow, orange bell peppers, sliced or diced into bite-size
    pieces
3/4 cup diced onion
1 can pizza sauce (Lorianne uses Muir Glen organic sauce)
extra virgin olive oil
shredded cheddar cheese (again, Lorianne looks for organic cheese and
grates it herself because it takes fresher and is more economical)
grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees. Make sure the oven is truly hot so the crust will crisp.

1.  Brown the beef with the garlic, or garlic powder. Add salt and pepper to taste, if desired.

2.  In a separate pan, saute the onions and peppers in a small amount of olive oil to soften.

3.  If desired, brush the pizza crust with a small amount of olive oil for added taste. Place about half of the sauce (more or less if you like) on the pizza crust. (The crust can be either frozen at this time, or thawed, it won't matter in the baking.) Follow the sauce with the beef and garlic mixture, then add some of the pepper and onion saute. Finally, add shredded cheddar cheese. Add as much or as little of these ingredients as you desire.

4.  Bake in pre-heated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until cheese is melted and slightly bubbly. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese for sprinkling.
