JOHN BERRY'S FAVORITE CHOCOLATE CREAM PIE

Ingredients:
9 inch baked pastry shell (we used a store bought whole wheat crust.
    YUM!)
1/3 cup Hershey's Cocoa
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups milk
3 Tablespoon butter
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
Sweetened whipped cream
 
Directions:


1.  Bake pie shell according to package instructions, or you can make your own.  Let cool.

2.  Combine cocoa, sugar, cornstarch and salt in medium saucepan; blend in milk until smooth. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils, boil and stir 3 minutes.

3.  Remove from heat; blend in butter and vanilla. Pour into pie shell; press plastic wrap onto surface. Chill 3 to 4 hours. Serve with sweetened whipped cream.
