Directions: |
1. With an electric hand mixer, combine cream cheese and 3/4 cup sugar and mix at medium speed until combined and creamy.
2. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Blend in vanilla extract. Pour mixture over baked crust.
3. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 250 degrees and continue baking 25 to 30 minutes, or until set.
4. Loosen cake from rim of pan. Cool before removing rim. Chill.
5. Top with cherry pie filling before serving.
