BUFFALO CHILI

Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb ground buffalo or ground beef
1 lb sausage (Craig uses sage flavor)
Garlic powder
Lemon pepper
Chili powder
Dried Basil
1/2 onion, chopped
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
1 (16 oz) can tomato sauce 
1 (10 oz) can Rotel tomatoes with green chilies
2 (14 ½ oz) cans Del Monte brand diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and
    oregano
2 (15 oz) cans black beans
2 (15 oz) cans pinto beans
1 (15 oz) can red kidney beans
 
Directions:


1.  Brown meat and sausage in a large soup pot.  Add spices to taste and sear with meat.

2.  Add chopped onion.

3.  Add remaining ingredients (except beans) and simmer for 30 minutes.

4.  Add beans and cover to simmer another 20-30 minutes.


Serve hot with garnish of choice: tortilla chips, grated cheese, sour cream.
